Celebrating Envera Health Nurses: Employee Spotlight

At Envera Health, our dedicated team of registered nurses are one of the key differentiators that sets our Customer Engagement Center apart from the rest. In honor of National Nurses Week, we are spotlighting one of our talented team members who helps connect patients to the care they need.

Linda Taylor, Telephonic Health and Wellness Nurse at Envera Health, has a passion for helping others. One of her main responsibilities is to facilitate the transition of care for patients who were recently seen in the emergency room. As part of our proactive outreach services, she calls patients to help them understand discharge papers, prescribed medications, and follow-up instructions.

Linda’s impressive resume includes working as a paramedic for 20 years, triage for Richmond International Raceway patrons, and with North Carolina Public Health Response Team. She also worked with National Disaster Medical Systems “Caretaker of Heroes”, where she aided in recovery efforts following 9/11 at the World Trade Center, and in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010.

One of her self-proclaimed biggest accomplishments has been her work with Operation Smile, a non-profit medical service helping children born with cleft lip or cleft palette. It was here where she had the opportunity to work with some of the top surgeons and doctors as she traveled to countries across the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa.

The nurses on the Envera Health team are essential to the success of our world-class customer engagement center and drive our efforts of streamlining the care process. Linda and her colleagues dedicate their time to answering questions regarding medications, next-steps in care plans, and anything else a patient may need. In addition to handling escalations from post-discharge outreach, our nurses are an integral part of our health maintenance campaigns where they proactively schedule appointments for preventative health, chronic disease, specialty services, and follow-up care.
